The Armagnac Gascogne vineyard has shrunk from 108,000 hectares in 1893 to 20,000 hectares today, due to phylloxera and other factors. It has stabilised and diversified, with 5,200 hectares recognised by the INAO for Armagnac and white grape varieties for Côtes-de-Gascogne wines.

We are delighted to have organised this exceptional musical event. On Saturday 20 August 2022, we welcomed the talented pianist Jean-Marc Luisada for a captivating recital, preceded by a tour of the winery and a tasting session for all to enjoy. Here's a glimpse of that wonderful evening.

In March, bud-break marks the end of the vine's winter rest, with the appearance of the future leaves. This delicate phase depends on heat and light, and can be threatened by late frosts or early budburst, putting the harvest at risk.

Château de Lacquy has just won 3 medals (out of 3 samples presented) at the IWSC in London, including an Exceptional Gold Medal for Bas Armagnac vintage 2001 100% Baco.

Our Bas Armagnacs Millésime 1991 and Assemblage 21 ans both won a gold medal at the famous IWSC competition in London, with respective scores of 96 and 95 points out of 100.
