Refund policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the condition you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned. These include perishable items such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines, as well as intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials or substances, and flammable liquids or gases.
Other items that cannot be returned include:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software
- Certain health and personal care products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.
In some cases, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Books showing obvious signs of use
- Opened CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, audio cassettes, or vinyl records
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the returned item. We will also inform you whether your refund is approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a few days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only items at regular price can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale or promotional items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item for the same one, please email us at armagnac[at]chateaudelacquy.com and send your item to: 404, route de l’Armagnac, Lacquy, Landes, 40120, France.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and was shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be sent to you by mail.
If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send the refund to the gift giver and they will be notified that you have returned the gift.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail it to: 404, route de l’Armagnac, Lacquy, Landes, 40120, France.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over €75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
