Description
Weather conditions:
After a rainy and mild spring, the vine was quickly calmed by a cold and rainy month. The sunny and warm summer settled in June-July with sometimes stormy passages favoring late blight. The harvest of the Folles Blanches began in September and followed in October, giving wines low in alcohol with perfect acidity.

Tasting notes:
Color: a beautiful deep amber colour. Nose: intense and direct, with aromas of nuts, spices, cigar box, smoky. Palate: very impressive attack on the palate, with a straight style and endowed with a nice freshness. The flavours always delight the palate with this beautiful display of strength. On the finish we perceive a hint of bitterness as well as a retro-olfaction of orange zest and pepper. Comment: this is a Bas-Armagnac for lovers of strong and marked tastes. 91/100 (Paolo Basso, Best Sommelier of the Year 2013)
