Weather conditions: the year started out much colder than average, then had abundant rainfall through to the month of April. Then dry weather took over until August, giving rise to very healthy grapes with thick skin and firm clusters. In late August, stormy, rainy weather alternated with sunshine, and the harvest began early, around 20 September. Our Folle-Blanche grapes were the first to be picked. Folle-Blanche gives low-alcohol high-quality wine with good acidity.
Alcohol content at bottling:
Very floral nose – white flowers, and citrus. Spicy and very floral on the palate, very balanced, elegant and unaggressive despite the amazing power and superb length on the palate.
