Tasting notes:
Color: pronounced amber, with coppery reflections.
Nose: very greedy, pastry-like, on gingerbread and candied fruits, with touches of almonds, nutmeg, liquorice.
Palate: very expressive, concentrated and complex, with marked notes of candied fruit. A very long finish on spices (black pepper).
“Fresh-baked pastries, crushed vanilla beans, and delicate floral notes show on the nose. Creamy and ripe on the palate, this Armagnac shows layers of complexity, notes of French baguette, toasted butter, walnuts, and dried peaches. Long and persistent finish.” (Ultimate Spirit Challenge 2021)
