The mild and humid winter brings about an early bud burst of the vines, then the first three weeks of May, quite cool, are followed by a period of heat which causes the vegetation to explode at the end of the month. June and July are hot and humid, and August brings its share of thunderstorms. Then from the end of August, fine weather, hot during the day and cool at night, sets in, bringing the perfect conditions for a superb harvest.
