Description
Weather conditions:
The very mild beginning of spring leads to rapid development of the buds, but France experienced an episode of severe frost at the end of April, which damaged a large part of the vineyards, including ours at Lacquy. Fortunately, the summer is excellent and allows us to obtain, although reduced in volume, a harvest of optimal quality.
Alcohol content at bottling:

Grape varieties:
Baco 50% Colombard 25% Ugni blanc 25%
Tasting notes:
Color: dark golden shiny orange.
Nose: very suave and deep aromas of sandalwood, cedar, with notes of exotic fruits, banana and pear.
On the palate, the attack is frank, very smooth. This Armagnac is truly revealed at the end of the mouth, while it unfolds on exotic fruits and woods, and beautiful peppery notes.
“Fresh red berry fruits draw you in with subtle cedar spice, grilled peaches and burnt orange. The palate is supremely balanced, exquisitely smooth and integrated, and the flavours, including a surprising burst of ripe peaches, endure.” (IWSC 2020)
