After a particularly mild winter, the budding of the vines is very advanced but a cool and rainy spring slows the vegetation. Summer is hot and dry, and the vines are stressed. The rain returns in late September and the harvest begins in early October.

Color: dark orange golden and shiny.
Nose: Lots of finesse. Subtle spicy aromas with a dominant peppery flavor.
Palate: Fresh, long-lasting brandy. Finesse and lightness. Flavors of toasted almonds. Cocoa aftertaste. Powerful, woody, frank, with great amplitude.
