The youngest Armagnac in the blend had spent 10 years on oak when the blend was made and the blend continued to age 2 more years in 420-liter barrels before sales.
Tasting Notes:
Powerful and spicy nose, notes of cocoa, spice, flowers and a hint of vanilla.
Round, lip-smacking attack on the palate, good balance and freshness, layers upon layers of aromas. Spice and a hint of menthol. Very lingering finish.
