Our Bas Armagnacs Millésime 1991 and Assemblage 21 ans both won a gold medal at the famous IWSC competition in London, with respective scores of 96 and 95 points out of 100.
Having celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019, the IWSC remains as relevant today as it was when wine chemist Anton Massel created the original format in 1969.
When Massel founded the International Wine & Spirit Competition, his goal – and it still is today – was to reward beverage excellence around the world, ensuring recognition for the best wines and spirits. The IWSC has set an international benchmark for quality for 50 years, standing out in the crowded world of beverage competitions with hundreds of global experts – including buyers, producers, distillers, sommeliers , distributors and influencers – judging wines and spirits throughout the year.
